Acupuncture is one of many available health services. It originates from China and is one of this country’s Indigenous healing methodologies. This practice centres on “administering fine needles to heal humans. The tools enter the patient’s affected acupuncture point located in meridians. The aim is to stimulate natural healing mechanisms” (https://www.ottawachineseacupuncture.ca/whatisacupuncture).

Practising this medical discipline requires strong professional ethics. As, if left unchecked, it can cause serious side effects. Acupuncture has thus undergone international health-level research and regulations to prove its mechanism. I like these news:

“In 1979, the World Health Organization (WHO) held a symposium on acupuncture. Acupuncture can help you identify 43 diseases. Some National Institutes of Health cooperated in the Consensus Statement on acupuncture.” (https://cutt.ly/jlPTLRd)

This healing is an alternative/extension to invasive medicine. The problem, its price did not gain from homogenization at the 1979 WHO summit. Since acupuncture became commercialized, one needs to be vigilant when considering it. According to Danielle Sinay, “please seek a referral. Ensure that medical services are proficient and certified too” (Healthline.com: 2018).

Like other treatment mechanisms, its management has a unique time and location response. Junmei Wue et.argues that :
