I mean, ask yourself, how many gay weddings have you attended? Which gay couples do you know with long-standing relationships (Elton and David do not count)? Seriously, I can’t think of any high-profile black gay couples and there are very few in my personal life, and I’m a black gay man, so that should tell you something.
