Happy belated birthday my friend. I will say that the voyage of Western Africans into Italy has been academically examined from various angles, as you can imagine. I was fortunate to have been introduced to it via migration & Diaspora Studies. Then, we focused on sexual rights, particularly those of women.

Before this moment, I was clueless that such travels occurred, and for trade, as I have hinted here.

That said, the diversity that is Africa needs demystifying day in and day out. Since: regional challenges and opportunities are not uniform to us all. Nonetheless, through you, I am learning of a male take on the said travels, and it is refreshing. Particularly: since you exercised consent from the on-set.

In closure, thanks for educating us here. Importantly, doing so on a personal account at that, brave. All the best with everything, George.
